The Premier League have revealed the creation of a new annual award for the Transfer of the Season.
As the name suggests, the honour goes to the player deemed to be the best signing made by clubs either last summer or during the January window.
Manchester City have two players in contention (Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo), while Manchester United’s Senne Lammens has also impressed between the posts.
Strikers Viktor Gyökeres and João Pedro have also been nominated in addition to Adrien Truffert at Bournemouth.
The contenders are completed by rejuvenated duo Dominic Calvert-Lewin at Leeds and Sunderland skipper Granit Xhaka.
Voting is now open to fans and a winner will be announced next week.
