New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye is still leading in the Pro Bowl fan voting, despite a disappointing loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
Before voting closed, the second-year quarterback had 104,417 votes. To put this into perspective, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was in second place with 92,573 votes. That put Maye ahead of everyone else by a significant number of fan votes.
The second-year signal-caller is having a stellar season. He has recorded 3,567 passing yards, 23 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. Despite a disappointing showing on Sunday, Maye has been one of the most consistent quarterbacks in the NFL throughout the season.
That effort has obviously made an impression on NFL fans.

Maye clearly has bigger things in mind than a second Pro Bowl bid. The Patriots are currently sitting at 11-3 with a real shot at winning the AFC East division, making the playoffs and potentially competing for a Super Bowl.
