Josh Allen left it all out on the field in the Bills’ 35-31 comeback win over the New England Patriots on Sunday.
And he left some on the sideline as well.
Allen was seen throwing up near the Buffalo bench in between possessions with 9:49 left in the fourth quarter.

“It basically happens every game. If I don’t get enough out pregame, it usually happens at halftime,” the reigning NFL MVP confessed. “If I don’t get enough at halftime, it usually happens in the third or fourth quarter. I don’t know why I do it, it just happens.”
Allen first made a similar confession in January of this year, noting before games he will always “throw up, listen to my playlist and drink water.”
Snow flurries in the greater Boston area went on for hours before kickoff, making their way south down to Foxboro Stadium throughout the game.
While viewers might have wondered if there was a weather-induced illness involved with the regurgitation, teams like the Bills are more accustomed to cold weather than others in the league, as they live in it throughout the season.
Some may have mistaken the chilly weather as the culprit, but Allen was only just warming up.
The QB went scorched Earth in a comeback flurry of offense, including five consecutive touchdown drives. He finished the day 19-for-28 with 193 yards and two touchdowns passing to TE Dawson Knox and 0 interceptions, and put things on ice with a cool 73.7% adjusted comp% and 120.7 passer rating.
Running back James Cook backed him and the offense up with 107 yards on 22 carries with two touchdowns rushing.
With the division and playoff seeds still undecided, New England will warm up with chowder and head to Baltimore to take on the Ravens, while Buffalo prepares for a trip down the Lake Erie shoreline to face the Browns in Cleveland.
