Delta Air Lines announced Friday it is adding additional flights to accommodate college football fans traveling to the College Football Playoff quarterfinals.
The airline said it is expanding its flight schedule to key destinations including Dallas, Miami, Los Angeles and New Orleans, ensuring fans can support their teams during the crucial playoff games.

“Bowl season is all about tradition, rivalries and unforgettable moments as teams battle it out for a place in the championship,” Amy Martin, Vice President – Network Planning at Delta, said in a statement.
Delta has also announced specific additional flights from Columbus to Dallas for Buckeye fans, with flights on Dec. 30 and Jan. 1, 2026.

Similarly, Delta said flights from Atlanta to Miami will see 12 daily segments on Dec. 31 and Jan. 2, 2026.
For fans traveling to Los Angeles, Delta is adding flights from Indianapolis on Dec. 30, Dec. 31, and Jan. 2, 2026.
Separately, Delta said, Atlanta to New Orleans will also see increased flights on Dec. 31 and Jan. 2, 2026.
Delta said it is also catering to fans who might miss the games due to travel. Many of Delta’s aircraft are equipped with live satellite TV, allowing passengers to watch the games in-flight.
Additionally, Delta Sync Wi-Fi, presented by T-Mobile, is available on 75% of Delta’s fleet, enabling passengers to stream games using their own subscription services.
With these additional flights and in-flight entertainment options, Delta said it is ensuring that college football fans can experience the excitement of the playoffs, whether in the stands or from the comfort of their seats.
