The Pittsburgh Steelers received an important update on T.J. Watt’s partially collapsed lung and his Week 15 status against the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football, courtesy of head coach Mike Tomlin.
Following his surgery to repair and stabilize his partially collapsed lung, Tomlin revealed that Watt has since been released from the hospital and is ‘at home resting comfortably.’ Tomlin then ruled Watt out for Monday’s game against the Dolphins.

Through 13 games this season, Watt has accumulated 53 combined tackles, seven sacks, three forced fumbles, and an interception.
In Watt’s absence, Nick Herbig and Alex Highsmith will see a much larger role as the Steelers prepare to host the Dolphins on Monday Night Football.
