On Sunday in Week 14, it was as embarrassing a loss as the Arizona Cardinals have had, a 45-17 home loss to the Los Angeles Rams. After tying the score 10-10 in the second quarter, they allowed 35 unanswered points. It was their fifth consecutive loss and their 10th in the last 11 games.
But don’t worry, Jacoby Brissett passed for 271 yards and two touchdowns, and Michael Wilson had 11 receptions for 142 yards and two scores, so things are better. At least, that is what many fans are saying.
The loss and the Cardinals’ ineptness in every phase were the topics that cohost Seth Cox and I discussed on the latest episode of the podcast.
We spoke about the following:
- (1:00) Whether there was anything redeeming or positive from the game in any phase
- (13:30) What is going on with the offense
- (31:03) What is going on with the defense
- (42:23) What we think about the coaches
