The New England Patriots made a couple of moves on the practice squad at the running back position.
Craig Reynolds was placed on the practice squad injured reserve list, and in a corresponding move, Jashaun Corbin was activated to the practice squad from the practice squad injured reserve. The team announced both moves on Wednesday.
Corbin was signed to the Patriots’ practice squad on October 7 and placed on the practice squad injured reserve list on October 28. He entered the league as a rookie free agent out of Florida State in May 2022. He has played for the New York Giants, Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons.
The veteran running back also spent time playing for the San Antonio Brahmans of the UFL in 2025, racking up 514 rushing yards and four touchdowns. He also had 252 yards as a kick returner.
This adds additional running back depth for the Patriots with Reynolds being out. The team has been banged up at the position throughout the season, and Corbin will need to be ready if his number gets called.
