Does a better developmental program with as much sustained success as the Iowa Hawkeyes exist? The team out of Iowa City, Iowa, may stand alone at the top of the totem pole for its annual production of talent, wins, and outstanding excellence on the field.
The 2025 Iowa Hawkeyes team is no different. Going 8-4, the Hawkeyes are littering awards and receiving honors left and right across all three units of offense, defense, and special teams. In fact, they are earning more top honors than any team in the country.
The Iowa Hawkeyes lead Pro Football Focus’ College Football All-America Team with the most selections. Iowa sees four stars dotting PFF’s team, putting them above any other team in the nation.

Of the Hawkeyes’ four selections, three of them reside on the offensive line, giving Iowa three of the five selections up front in the trenches. Iowa sees center Logan Jones, right guard Kade Pieper, and left guard Beau Stephens all getting the nod as PFF’s All-American offensive linemen.
Elsewhere, and unsurprisingly, Iowa return man, and the best to ever do it for the Hawkeyes, Kaden Wetjen earned the selection as Pro Football Focus’ All-American return man, after his electrifying season.
