The Buffalo Bills are fresh off an important win.
All week, topics and storylines have been discussed ahead of this upcoming AFC East clash. In the end, regardless of what is said by players, coaches, media outlets and fans, it always comes down to what unfolds on the field in the NFL.
And once it’s game time, there will be a few particular things to look out for.
With that, here are five things to watch for during theĀ Bills (9-4) versus the New England Patriots clash in Week 15:
Out of the gate
Last week, the Bills were down 14-3 against the Cincinnati Bengals early. Against better teams, like the Patriots, that might not fly.
But specifically against the Patriots, when the two faced off in Week 5, that could have been a difference maker. The Pats only led 6-3 at halftime in that outing.
Had either side started better, it would’ve been pivotal difference.
Josh dueling Drake
While Patriots quarterback Drake Maye and Bills QB Josh Allen will not face each other directly, it’s still a top-tier battle between the two.
With the emergence of the Patriots in 2025. Maye has taken plenty of headlines. He’s the favorite to win this year’s MVP Award to some. Allen is the defending MVP.
This could be fun.
Punching it in
New England’s defense is the worst in the NFL at allowing touchdowns in the red zone at 73.1 percent. The Bills offense should be pushing in touchdowns inside the 20.
Getting healthy (still)
While offensive lineman Dion Dawkins (concussion) returned last week, others did not.
The likes of offensive lineman Spencer Brown (shoulder), linebacker Terrel Bernard (elbow) and wide receiver Josh Palmer (ankle) are names to watch.
Diggs vs. Buffalo
It’s another round of former Bills-now-Patriots receiver Stefon Diggs against the Bills. He had 10 catches and 146 yards against Buffalo earlier this year.
