Vanderbilt and Virginia fans are known for bringing the volume, but they won’t be able to blow the roof off the arena if the Commodores or Cavaliers get hot from three in their September exhibition contest.
That’s because the game will be held outdoors at Credit One Stadium in Charleston, South Carolina. The SEC and ACC men’s hoops programs will hit the court at 1pm on September 27.
Despite being in different conferences, the two teams are relatively familiar with one another, having played an exhibition tilt last October.
The programs will have practices open to fans the day before the unique exhibition matchup.
Charleston will host an outdoor men’s hoops exhibition doubleheader on Sunday, Sept. 27 with Vanderbilt-Virginia and Charleston-Citadel, source told @TheFieldOf68.
Games will be played at Credit One Stadium.
Vandy-Virginia at 1 pm followed by Charleston-Citadel.

The College of Charleston will play the Citadel after the Vanderbilt-Virginia contest concludes.
