Self-proclaimed crime intelligence agent Brown Mogotsi is expected to be back in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court today for the arrangement of trial date.
He was in court last week when his bail application was denied for the second time.
The court found that Mogotsi did not present few facts in his bid to be released on bail.
He is facing charges of defeating the ends of justice, perjury, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
This is in relation to an alleged staged assassination attempt on his life in Vosloorus in November last year.
Mogotsi’s lawyer has indicated that his client intends to approach the high court to appeal the bail denial.
