Antonela Roccuzzo is celebrating Lionel Messi‘s heroic performance against Egypt during Argentina’s World Cup Round of 16 win.
On Tuesday, July 7, Messi and the Argentinian soccer team came out victorious against Egypt in Atlanta. Cristian Romero’s header set up Messi for the first goal, which he scored with less than 15 minutes left in the game. Minutes later, he scored again to tie the match. During the seven extra minutes of play, a header from Enzo Fernandez gave Argentina a stunning 3-2 lead that secured the win over Egypt.
After the match, Roccuzzo, 38, posted on Instagram to celebrate the team’s historic victory. “Let’s go Argentina 🤍. @leomessi no more words left 🥹 🩵 🤍,” her caption read in Spanish.
The post included snaps of Roccuzzo posing with the couple’s three sons, Thiago, 13, Mateo, 10, and Ciro, 8. The family all wore matching Messi No. 10 jerseys.

Roccuzzo also included a snap of the 39-year-old star crowd-surfing among his teammates as they lifted him into the air, celebrating the win. Messi and the team also celebrated by hugging one another and approaching fans in the stands, waving and cheering with them. Messi, visibly emotional, removed his shirt to wipe tears from his eyes.
Roccuzzo included two photos of herself posing, showing the back of her jersey and the matching baby-blue Birkin — and a close-up of her light-blue and rose-gold Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore watch, which features a diamond-set bezel. The post also included a sweet selfie with her two younger sons, with Mateo smiling widely and Ciro making a silly face for the camera.
Weeks earlier, Roccuzzo celebrated her husband’s latest World Cup accomplishment with an Instagram tribute.
Rocuzzo also celebrated Messi’s first accomplishment of the 2026 World Cup, when he scored his record-breaking 18th World Cup goal on June 22. “What a privilege to see you make history again and again 🤍 🇦🇷,” she wrote. “Te amo @leomessi !!!”
Messi snagged another record on July 7 with a record ninth assist at the World Cup.
