The New York Giants will enter the 2026 season with a wealth of talent on both sides of the ball.
New York reloaded this offseason and did so impressively. The Giants added multiple key veterans in free agency while securing one of the top rookie classes in the NFL during the 2026 draft.
However, a number of analysts around the league believe New York could struggle in 2026. Pro Football Focus analyst Mason Cameron recently issued win-total projections for each team, forecasting just seven victories for the Giants. Only seven teams were projected to win fewer games.
PFF’s prediction for New York may come as a surprise to many. The Giants are widely regarded as one of the NFL’s top up-and-coming teams, and they could quickly prove capable of winning more than seven games.
The Giants won four games in 2025 with rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart under center. With a full season of experience, the star signal-caller could perform at an even higher level in 2026, leading an offense that features an explosive group of playmakers at wide receiver and tight end.
The Giants may emerge as a true sleeper team in 2026 following several key offseason acquisitions. Nevertheless, Pro Football Focus still projects New York to finish with a record of 7-10.
