The German Football League (DFL) announced the 2026/27 Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga schedules on Thursday afternoon.
Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart will kick off the Bundesliga season at the Allianz Arena on Friday 28 August at 20:30 CET.
Meanwhile, VfL Bochum and Hertha BSC will open the 2. Bundesliga campaign on 7 August at 20:30 CET.
The exact kick-off times for Bundesliga matchdays 1 to 4 will be announced in calendar week 29 (13–17 July).
For the 2. Bundesliga, the exact kick-off times for matchdays 1 and 2 will be confirmed next week (6-10 July). Matchdays 3 to 6 will follow the week after, alongside the Bundesliga matchday 1-4 kick-off times.
