Lincoln Pare’s tenure with the Colts
The Colts signed Pare as an undrafted free agent following the 2026 NFL draft.
What to know about Lincoln Pare
Pare put together a breakout season in 2025, rushing for 1,128 yards with 12 touchdowns. He’s regularly generated big plays throughout his five college seasons, averaging 5.1 yards per rush over his career, including 5.4 yards per attempt in 2025. Pare has proven to be difficult to bring down, averaging 3.28 yards after contact this past year, according to PFF.
Pare was also quite active in the passing game, totaling 41 targets in 2025. He was reliable as well, catching 37 of those passes at 7.6 yards per catch with two more scores.
Looking ahead to 2026 for Lincoln Pare
Chances are that the most likely landing spot for Pare in Year 1 is on the practice squad. Leading the way at running back is Jonathan Taylor, while DJ Giddens and Seth McGowan — two recent draft picks — are battling over the backup running back role. Ulysses Bentley also has experience on his side after spending last season with the team. Typically, teams roster three running backs.
