Fans from Musina in Limpopo have wished Bafana Bafana well ahead of their last 32 clash with Canada this Sunday in the FIFA World Cup, in Los Angeles.
Bafana Bafana are high in confidence following victory over South Korea, ranked 28th in the world, and progression to the knockout stage of a World Cup for the first time ever.
“We wish the boys the best and for them to do a better performance. I’m glad that Bafana Bafana won the previous game. I wish they win even the next one and eventually the world cup.”
“They have qualified to the last 32 and with Bafana Bafana it is for the first time and as a country South Africa it is for the first time where we qualify to the last 32. What we want to say is just that we want to wish them well.”
Co-hosts of the World Cup – Canada – is a team ranked 30th in the world, 30 places higher than Bafana. But after their win over South Korea on Thursday, they now believe that the sky is the limit.
