TJ Ward is an accomplished NFL player who played a short three but meaningful seasons with the Denver Broncos, was a key member of the “No Fly Zone” defense in 2015, and won a Super Bowl 50 title with the club.
Ward had a brief NFL comeback in 2020 after last playing in 2017, and he officially retired in 2021. Now, he and his brother, former Atlanta Falcons running back Terron Ward, are teaming up to make an impact off the field by launching “Next Level: The Roadmap for Student-Athletes.”
The brothers’ goal? To reach the younger generation and give out as much information and mentorship as possible.
“Through their nonprofit, the WardBoy Project, they’ve brought together an impressive lineup, including Maurice Jones-Drew (UCLA, NFL Jaguars and Raiders), Brent Brennan (University of Arizona head coach), Brandin Cooks (Oregon State, NFL Buffalo Bills), and NIL expert Rex Kaplan to give young athletes and their families access to mentorship and guidance that’s often out of reach,” a spokesperson for the virtual summit told Broncos Wire.
The summit will run from June 28-30, and registration is free at nextlevelstudentsummit.org.
