Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star left Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Twins with back spams.
Tucker appeared to sustain the injury while running the bases in the top of the second inning. Tucker reached first on a one-out walk, then advanced to second on a Tommy Edman single.
With Dalton Rushing at the plate, Tucker knelt to a crouch in apparent pain. The Dodgers called for time, and Tucker jogged off the field to the dugout. Manager Dave Roberts replaced him at second base with Alex Call.
The Dodgers later announced that Tucker had left the game with back spasms. The severity of Tucker’s injury wasn’t initially clear.
