Redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Gage Ginther enters his third season at Tennessee in 2026.
The 6-foot-5, 310-pound offensive lineman appeared in three games for the Vols from 2024-25. He made his collegiate debut versus Chattanooga at Neyland Stadium on Aug. 31, 2024. Ginther also appeared in games against Kent State and UTEP in 2024.
He was named to the Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll from 2024-25.
Ginther is from Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins, Colorado, making three consecutive 5A state playoff appearances and winning a league title as a sophomore in 2021.
He was ranked as the No. 2 player in Colorado by 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN, and the No. 3 Colorado prospect by On3.
Ginther committed to the Vols over Colorado, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Oregon. He was an early enrollee in Jan. 2024 and participated in spring football practices.
Tennessee will kick off its 2026 football season Sept. 5 versus Furman at Neyland Stadium. The season opener is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+).
The Vols will also host Kennesaw State, Texas, Auburn, Alabama, Kentucky and LSU, while playing at Georgia Tech, Arkansas, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt during the 2026 campaign.
