Should the Boston Celtics kick the tires on taking Dailyn Swain in the 2026 NBA Draft? Projected to be taken just ahead of where the Celtics will be picking in the first round with their No. 27 overall pick, it is not out of the question he could slip to Boston’s range in the draft. And if he does, there is a good case for the Celtics to use that pick on the 6-foot-7 Texas forward.
In his last season with the Longhorns, Swain put up 17.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 54.2 percent from the floor overall, 34.4 percent from beyond the arc, and 81.5 percent from the free throw line.
The folks behind the “NBC Sports Boston” YouTube channel put together a clip of the best of his play at the NCAA level last season for us to watch. Check it out below!
