The family of 21-year-old Zenande Chiloane in Mbombela says they will now find closure after his body was found floating in the Crocodile River near Kamagugu Township.
Chiloane had been missing for nine days after a vehicle he was travelling in, along with two others, plunged into the river last week.
His grandfather, Mike Mogane, says they are grateful that his body has been found.
Mogane says, “The prayers of the believers, prayers of everybody, South Africa as a whole, they were praying that the boy must be found. So we say, God has done that miracle. In most cases, we don’t find the body, but finally, we, as a family, we are grateful to God and to the SABC, and to the church at large. People were gathering there every day, trying by all means that they should get the body.”
