Chambersburg baseball’s chance at a District 3 title is in sight.
The Trojans, following a dominant run through the Class 6A bracket as the No. 5 seed, have qualified for their first District 3 championship game since 2015, when they fell in the Class 4A final to Hempfield. After 11 years of waiting a move up to Class 6A, however, the Trojans have made their return.
Chambersburg will face No.11-seeded Muhlenberg for the District 3 crown on Monday, May 25. First pitch is slated for 6:45 p.m. at Penn Medicine Park in Lancaster.
