Gus Kenworthy is making his thoughts on the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency known in a dirty but clear way.
On Thursday, February 5, the actor, 34, took to Instagram to share a rather crass picture of his skis in the snow with the words f**k ICE” written with surprisingly good penmanship in yellow in the snow. He clarified in a follow-up post that the yellow writing was indeed his own urine.
The message in the snow wasn’t the only way he tried to combat ICE with his post. The caption included a sample script for his followers to use to call their senators and speak up against the organization.
“You can call your Senator at (202) 224-3121 to speak up against ICE and put pressure on them during the current DHS funding negotiations. Here’s a sample script,” he wrote, capping off his post with a middle finger and ice cube emojis.
As Entertainment Weekly notes, Kenworthy is one of the 2,900 athletes currently in Italy for the Milano Cortina games. Although he competed for the United States when he won a silver medal in 2014, he is there with Great Britain this time around, which he previously did in 2022.
Before that, he appeared in nine episodes of the 2019 season of American Horror Story. The outlet reports he also had a guest role in the Will & Grace revival and was a part of the 2023 movie 80 for Brady and the 2024 remake of Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead.
