Micah Parsons wasn’t healthy enough to compete in the Pro Bowl Games, but the Green Bay Packers pass rusher may have stolen the show Tuesday night, Feb. 3 during the broadcast of the 7-on-7 game, anyway.
Riding around on his motorized scooter as he rehabs from a torn ACL, Parsons provided ample comic relief during the game, which his NFC teammates won over the AFC, 66-52.
Parsons apparently named the scooter Lightning McQueen after the animated “Cars” protagonist. He used the vehicle to motor around and shoot video – calling his production “MPTV” – and even tried to line up on offense for the NFC, strapping on flags before the game official shot the idea down.

“I’m just trying to show guys, like, even though you can be injured, life’s not going the way [you want it to], understand we’re still blessed,” Parsons said to ESPN’s Laura Rutledge. “God still allowed us to be here, and let’s just bring energy. We’re all so blessed to be here, be around each other. These are some of the best players in the world, and I don’t look past that. So I just live in the moment, be where my feet are at and just enjoy myself.”

Parsons raced off in celebration at the end of the interview when NFC teammate Antoine Winfield Jr. brought in an interception.
