After losing three straight games, the Eagles (8-5) will look to get right against the Raiders (2-11) at a blistery, cold Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday afternoon. Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts will look to rebound after throwing four interceptions, including one late to Chargers defensive back Tony Jefferson to seal a walkoff interception in overtime, as Jim Harbaugh’s team improved to 9-4 on the season with a 22-19 win last Monday night.
With kickoff fast approaching, and Lane Johnson and Jalen Carter both ruled out, we’re looking at ten stats to know for Week 15.
Raiders aren’t allowing explosive plays.
The Raiders defense has allowed an explosive play on just 11.8% of defensive snaps in 2025, the seventh-lowest rate in the NFL according to Next Gen Stats. A play is considered explosive if it is a rush of 10 or more yards or a pass of 20 or more yards.
Quinyon Mitchell has been dominant
Mitchell, who has not allowed a passing TD in 510 coverage snaps (only NFL CB with 500+ coverage snaps and 0 TDs), ranks 1st among NFL CBs in catch permitted rate (41.3%), tight windows forced (41.3%), and average target separation (1.8) (min. 50 targets). Mitchell also ranks 2nd at his position in YAC per reception allowed (2.5), behind Keisean Nixon (2.1) (min. 25 receptions). Mitchell’s 61.5 passer rating allowed is the 3rd-lowest mark among CBs, trailing only Cobie Durant (48.7) and Derek Stingley (54.1) in that category (min. 50 targets).
Maxx Crosby is on a historic pace
Crosby now has 25 tackles for loss in 2025, the most in a single season in his career and the most in a single season inRaiders history. He has also now become 1-of-6 of six players in the NFL since 2000 to record a season with 25+ TFLs. He is also one of only six players in NFL history to record at least one season of 25+ tackles for loss in his first seven seasons.
Eagles feast on the AFC
Philadelphia ranks 1st in the NFC with a .720 (18-7) winning percentage vs. AFC teams since 2021 (including playoffs). That is the 4th-best interconference winning percentage in the NFL, trailing only Buffalo (.792, 19-5), Kansas City (.786, 22-6), and Baltimore (.750, 18-6).
Can Las Vegas shut down Saquon Barkley?
The Raiders have recorded 78 run stuffs in 2025, the third most in the NFL. Next Gen Stats defines run stuffs as runs stopped for zero or negative yards.
Eagles rarely lose at home.
Under Nick Sirianni and with Jalen Hurts at quarterback, Philadelphia is tied with Kansas City for the 2nd-highest home winning percentage (.811, 30-7) in the NFL since 2022 (including playoffs), with only Buffalo (.842, 32-6) ahead. The Eagles have produced a 14-2 (.875) record in their last 16 games at Lincoln Financial Field.
Cooper DeJean is the best slot CB in the NFL.
According to PFF, Cooper DeJean leads all NFL nickel CBs in run defense grade (82.9) (min. 125 run defense snaps) and opponent passer rating (57.7) (min. 250 coverage snaps). He also ranks 2nd among NFL nickel CBs in yards allowed per coverage snap (0.66), behind Javon Bullard (0.63) (min. 250 coverage snaps). For his career, DeJean has 0passing TDs allowed in 762 career coverage snaps in the slot.
Eagles have to avoid negative plays
The Raiders’ defense has excelled at creating negative plays in 2025, forcing 95 plays of negative yards by opponents, the second-most in the NFL.
Zack Baun and Nakobe Dean are on a run.
Zack Baun, who has registered double-digit tackles in each of the last five games, is the only NFL player with 100+ tackles (team-high 104), 3.5+ sacks and 2+ takeaways (1 INT, 1 FR) this year. According to PFF, Baun ranks 3rd among NFL LBs in defensive grade (78.6), trailing only Jack Campbell (88.5) and Demario Davis (79.8) (min. 700 snaps).
Since returning to the Eagles’ defense in Week 7, Nakobe Dean has recorded the highest PFF pass rush grade (92.5), pass rush win rate (31.0%), and pressure percentage (37.9%) among NFL off-ball LBs (min. 25 pass rush snaps). During that stretch, Dean, who is the first Eagle to total multiple strip-sacks since Haason Reddick in 2022, ranks 2nd among off-ball LBs with 4.0 sacks, behind Eric Wilson (5.0). He is the only player with 45+ tackles, 4.0+ sacks, and 2+ FFs since Week 7.
Edge rusher duo has created nightmares.
Jaelan Phillips ranks 5th in the NFL with 26 pressures since Week 10 (after being acquired via trade), trailing only Micah Parsons (34), Josh Hines-Allen (31), Aidan Hutchinson (29) and Will Anderson (27). Jalyx Hunt, who is tied with Jordan Davis for the team lead in sacks (career-high 4.5), logged a career-high 2.5 sacks in Week 14 at L.A. Chargers. Hunt has 4.5 sacks and 1 FF over his last six games.
Eagles’ dynamic WR duo
DeVonta Smith owns the 9th-most receiving yards (team-leading 839) among NFL WRs this season. Since Week 5, Smith has produced the 5th-most receiving yards (681) among WRs, trailing only Jaxon SmithNjigba (1,026), George Pickens (879), Ja’Marr Chase (751) and Puka Nacua (683). He leads the NFL in third-down receiving yards (373). A.J. Brown, who has reached 100+ receiving yards in three consecutive games, leads the NFL with 342 receiving yards since Week 12.
Bench who?
Jalen Hurts ranks 4th in the NFL with 27 total TDs this season, trailing only Matthew Stafford (35), Josh Allen (34) and Dak Prescott (28).
