Stephen Curry is undoubtedly the greatest shooter in NBA history. Still, the shot he made before returning to the Golden State Warriors’ lineup Friday against the Minnesota Timberwolves is nearly impossible to fathom.
During warmups, Curry launched a heave from the tunnel as part of his longtime pregame tradition. He made it look like a layup, bringing the fans to their feet before the game even tipped off. Curry celebrated by sprinting back into the tunnel as the Chase Center roared.
Here’s a look at every angle of the absurd Tunnel Shot, which truly can only be seen to be believed.

Curry, who missed the last five games with a quad contusion, dropped 39 points, five rebounds and five assists in his return. It wasn’t enough, however, as Minnesota won 127-120 without Anthony Edwards to drop the Warriors to 13-13.
The Warriors will need some more Curry heroics to avoid having to battle through the Play-In Tournament for a third straight year.
