AmaZulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini has called for calm amid ongoing tensions surrounding undocumented foreign national marches in South Africa. The monarch made the remarks during a courtesy visit by Democratic Alliance (DA) federal leader Geordin Hill-Lewis to the eMashobeni Royal Palace in KwaZulu-Natal.
King Misuzulu urged South Africans to trust the country’s leaders to maintain peace and order, stressing the importance of working together to ensure stability and prosperity.
He acknowledged the challenges facing the country and called on all political parties to cooperate in promoting peace and unity ahead of the general elections scheduled for November.
“ Let us work together for the stability and the sake of this country because we don’t have any other South Africa, this is the only one. Let us work with what God has blessed us with, I promise you everything will be okay. Let us trust in the leadership that is in the country, we have kings like myself, please have trust in the Zulu King and let us work together to make peace and stability in the country and that we support our president in everything that he does.”
