Paris Saint-Germain have received a boost ahead of their Champions League away game against Barcelona, with Portugal midfielder Joao Neves returning to the squad after recovering from a hamstring injury. Neves had been sidelined since PSG’s 4-0 win over Atalanta two weeks ago, but he’s now ready to contribute to the holders’ European campaign.
Fellow Portugal international Vitinha is also included in the squad, despite being substituted in the first half of PSG’s Ligue 1 match against AJ Auxerre last Saturday.
However, PSG will be without several key players for the Barcelona match. Georgian forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is absent due to a thigh injury, while captain Marquinhos, Ousmane Dembélé, and Desire Doue are also sidelined with injuries.
The French champions will be looking to bounce back in Europe after a strong start to the campaign, as they face a challenging trip to Barcelona.
