PENZA, Russia — Sept. 26, 2025 — Naufal Takdir Al Bari, a 19-year-old rising star in men’s gymnastics from Indonesia and a top contender for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, has died following a training accident at a camp in Russia, according to officials from the Indonesian Gymnastics Federation.
